Tata Play, which most people still call Tata Sky, is one of India's largest DTH television providers, delivering hundreds of channels over a satellite dish to homes across the country.

It has since moved well beyond television alone. Tata Play Binge bundles streaming apps into the same subscription, and the company also sells broadband in some cities. Recharges, pack changes and set-top box management all happen in its app and website.

If Tata Play isn't working

Restart the set-top box Power the set-top box off for a minute and back on. Many signal and channel glitches clear with a restart.
Check for weather or a blocked dish Heavy rain or a blocked or moved dish can drop the signal. Check the dish has a clear line of sight.
Check your pack and recharge A missing channel can be a pack issue. Check your active pack, and a recharge takes a little time to reflect.
Use the app and WhatsApp for self-service The Tata Play app and WhatsApp support handle recharges, packs and complaints without a call.
