About RailOne
RailOne is the Indian Railways super app, built and run by CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) for the Ministry of Railways. One login books reserved, unreserved (UTS), season and platform tickets, and shows live train status, PNR and coach position.
It replaced the UTS on Mobile app, which Indian Railways shut on 1 March 2026. Old UTS and IRCTC logins work on RailOne, and the UTS R-Wallet balance carries over.
Complaints go through RailMadad inside the app, and meals can be ordered to your seat from IRCTC-approved vendors.

Buy at the station counter The unreserved ticket counter sells general and platform tickets when the app will not book.

Questions
A burst of reports here from many cities means the RailOne app or its server is down for everyone. If only your unreserved booking fails, step outside the station premises and try again.
Check which part fails. RailOne puts reserved, unreserved and platform tickets, train status and RailMadad in one app, so note whether booking, login or payment is the step that stops.
Indian Railways also does not allow unreserved or platform booking from inside a station. Step outside the station premises and try again before you call it an outage.
Check the reports on this page first. If many people report at once, RailOne is down and you can only wait and retry. When the trouble is on your phone alone, get the latest RailOne version, try the other network, Wi-Fi or mobile data, and sign in again. For a journey right now, the station counter sells unreserved and platform tickets.
Yes. Indian Railways decommissioned the UTS on Mobile app on 1 March 2026. RailOne now books unreserved, season and platform tickets, and your old UTS or IRCTC login works there.
It is safe. Indian Railways has said the R-Wallet balance from the UTS app does not lapse and can be used on RailOne. Sign in to RailOne with your UTS login to see it. RailOne's page also lists 3% cashback when you pay for an unreserved ticket from R-Wallet.
Unreserved and platform tickets on the app cannot be booked inside the station premises. Book before you walk in, or step outside the station and book from there. There is no outer distance limit, so booking from home works.
Purana UTS ya IRCTC user ID aur password RailOne mein chalta hai. Naye user sign up karke account banayein, phir mPIN ya fingerprint se login kar sakte hain. Password badalna ho to My Account mein jaiye.
Open My Bookings. It lists booked and cancelled tickets, both reserved and unreserved, with their refund status. You raise a refund request for a cancelled or missed journey from the app too.
