About BGMI

BGMI is the India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, published by Krafton and built after the original was blocked in the country. Its own history has been eventful, it was pulled from app stores in 2022 and returned in 2023.

It is a battle royale where a hundred players drop onto a map and fight to be last standing, and in India it anchors a serious esports scene with tournaments, teams and full-time streamers.

Everything needs a live connection to Krafton's servers. Evenings and weekends are peak, and new season launches bring the whole player base on together.

'Server Busy' or 'Authentication Error'? The server is at capacity or under maintenance. Wait and retry, and check the official BGMI handle for the schedule.
Is it scheduled maintenance? Around updates BGMI takes its servers down. The server open time is on Krafton's official channels, so wait for it rather than reinstalling.
High ping or lag after an update? Use the in game Repair tool from the login screen, switch network or use 5GHz, close background apps, and try Private DNS dns.google.
Login failed? Check your credentials and connection. If it is a ban or suspension, contact in game support rather than retrying.
