About Rapido
Rapido is the bike taxi app that grew into autos and cabs. It is run by Roppen Transportation Services Pvt Ltd, started in 2015, and has its corporate office in Bengaluru.
Riders book, track and pay inside the app, and the drivers, called Captains, work on a separate Rapido Captain app. For cabs and autos, Rapido works as a software platform: the fare is agreed with the Captain and paid to the Captain directly. The website, rapido.bike, carries the customer and Captain terms, the office addresses and a query form.

If Rapido isn't working

Update the Rapido app Get the newest Rapido version from your app store and reopen it. It is the first fix for a frozen or blank screen.

Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi If one works and the other does not, the network is at fault. A quick airplane mode toggle often brings mobile data back.

Turn on location and set the pin Rapido needs GPS to find nearby Captains. Allow location access and place the pickup pin on a road a Captain can reach.

Log out and log in again with OTP If the app keeps loading or shows your account wrongly, sign in fresh. Wait for the OTP instead of tapping resend many times.

Check the live status on this page Many riders reporting at once means Rapido itself is down. Wait a few minutes before you book again.

Switch the ride type If bike taxis are not showing, book an Auto or a Cab from the same Rapido app.

Book on another ride app Uber, Ola or Namma Yatri (in the cities it covers) can take the same trip while Rapido recovers.

Other riders' reports and our own check of rapido.bike, both on this page, tell you. Many riders reporting the same minute, across cities, points to a Rapido-side problem. If only you are stuck, look at your app version and your network first.
It depends on the error. A server error or "server can't be reached" message is Rapido's side, and retrying after a few minutes is all you can do. An endless search for a Captain is different: the app works, but no Captain near you has accepted yet.
Not always. "No captain found" means no nearby Captain has accepted the ride yet, while the app itself is working. Try Auto or Cab in the same app, or move the pickup pin to a main road a Captain can reach.
Then your mobile network is the problem, not Rapido. Turn mobile data off and on, or switch airplane mode for ten seconds. A data pack that has run out or a weak 4G/5G signal gives the same result.
Compare the reports on this page. If riders in Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai or Hyderabad are all reporting at once, it is a Rapido-wide outage. If only your city shows reports, try another ride type, or wait a few minutes before you book again.
