Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About ACT Fibernet

ACT Fibernet, run by Atria Convergence Technologies, is a wired broadband provider rather than a mobile operator, and it is one of the larger independent ISPs in India.

Its strength is in the south, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai especially, where it built fibre to the home well before the telcos got serious about broadband. Plans, bills, and complaints are handled through its app and self care portal. Because it is a wired service, a problem is usually local, one area or one node rather than the whole city, and evenings are when its lines carry the most traffic.

Live reports

  • No reports yet, be the first to report an issue above.

If ACT Fibernet isn't working

  • No internet? Check the router and ONT lights. A red or off internet or LOS light means a line fault, so restart the ONT and router.

  • Is it an area outage? Check if neighbours are down too, and the ACT app or status page for an alert. If it is area wide, it is on ACT to fix.

  • Slow speed? Run a speed test against your plan, restart the router, connect by ethernet, and close heavy downloads or disconnect unused devices.

  • App login failing? Reinstall the app. If it still will not log in, use the verified helpline to raise a ticket or check your bill.

  • Check the live status above If many people in your area are reporting ACT, it is an area outage and not just you.

  • Report the fault Raise it on the ACT app or the verified helpline so it is logged and tracked.

Other ways to access ACT Fibernet

  • Use a mobile hotspot as backup Since ACT is wired broadband, tethering from a phone's mobile data keeps you online while the connection is down.

  • Switch heavy work to mobile data Move video calls or urgent work to a phone hotspot until the fiber is back.

  • Raise and track a ticket on the ACT app Over mobile data, the ACT app lets you report the outage, check status and see your bill.

  • Call the verified helpline The verified ACT helpline can register a fault and give an area outage update.

Questions

Check the live status and report map above. ACT outages are usually local, so check whether others in your area are also reporting it, which points to an area outage, versus just you, which points to your router.
Look at the router and fiber box, the ONT, lights. If the internet or LOS light is red or off, it is a line or area fault, not your device. Restart the ONT and router, and if it is still down it is at ACT's end.
A fiber cut or local maintenance can take from a couple of hours to longer. Check ACT's service status page or the ACT app for an update, and report it so it is logged. We cannot promise an exact restore time.
Router aur fiber box ki light check karein, red light matlab line fault. ONT aur router restart karein. ACT app ya status page par area outage dekhein. Upar live status dekhte rahein.
Run a speed test and compare with your plan, restart the router, and connect by ethernet to check. Disconnect unused devices and pause heavy downloads. If it is slow for the whole area, it is an ACT side issue.
App login can fail with a 'number not registered' error during issues. Try reinstalling, and use the verified ACT helpline to raise a fault or check your bill in the meantime.
Yes. Tap the Download button on the live status card at the top of this page to save the ACT Fibernet server down image. The screenshot shows ACT Fibernet's current status, the last checked time and how many users across India are reporting problems right now. So when ACT Fibernet is actually down you get a real service down screenshot, not a mock-up. Save the service down image to keep it or send it to someone.
We run an on demand check from our server and combine it with real user reports across India. Reports are the main signal, especially for a broadband ISP, because outages are usually local and users in the affected area report them first.
