If Hathway isn't working

Compare with your city's reports If many people in your city report Hathway right now, it is an area outage, not your line. Waiting for the fix is the only option.
One device or all? Try the internet on a second device. If only one device fails, restart it; if all fail, the router or the line is the problem.
Restart the router Switch the router off, wait a minute and switch it on. Check that every cable into it is firmly in place.
Check the plan An expired plan cuts the internet just like a fault does. Open the Hathway app or self-care portal and confirm the plan is active.
Report it and keep the docket Log the fault on the app, self-care or the toll-free line. Note down the docket number; you will need it if you follow up.

Use mobile data as a backup Share a hotspot from your phone for urgent work while the broadband is down.
Pay without logging in Hathway's Quick Pay asks only for the account number and the registered mobile number. A renewal can go through even if you cannot log in.
Get your self-care login by SMS SMS BRM followed by your mobile number to 9223011110, and Hathway sends your self-care login details.

Look at the Hathway reports on this page, especially from your own city. Several in the last few minutes point to an outage in that area. If your city shows none, check your own line, router and plan first.

Start where Hathway's own guide starts: does one device have no internet, or all of them? One device means restarting that device. All devices means restarting the router and checking that your plan is active. If it still fails on every device, call 1800 419 3114.

Test a second device near the router. If Wi-Fi is slow only in some rooms, move closer to the router and retry. Then run the speed test on hathway.com; consistently low speed on several devices is a fault to report.

Check the plan status in the Hathway app or self-care portal first. If the money has gone but the plan still shows expired, call 1800 419 3114 with the transaction details; each complaint gets a docket number you can quote later.
