Hathway is a cable and broadband company that grew out of the cable television business, which is still visible in how its network is laid out across Indian cities.

It sells home and business internet over fibre and cable, along with cable TV in several places, and is now part of the Reliance group. Bills, plan changes and support requests go through its app and site. As with any wired provider, service depends on the local line and area network, so households in one locality tend to be affected together while the rest of the city is fine.
