IDBI Bank began as the Industrial Development Bank of India, a development finance institution set up in 1964, and turned into a full service commercial bank in 2004.

LIC holds close to half of it and the Government of India most of the rest, the RBI classifies it as a private sector bank, and a strategic sale of that combined stake has been in the works for a few years now.

For a customer it works like any other bank, net banking, the Go Mobile+ app, UPI, cards, deposits and loans, out of a branch network spread across India.

Wait out the reversal before trying again An unsuccessful IMPS or NEFT is returned to the account. Note the reference, leave it alone, and check the statement - a second attempt is how one payment becomes two debits.
Switch between the Go Mobile+ app and net banking If Go Mobile+ is stuck, open net banking in a browser, or the reverse. Either route reaches the same IDBI account.
Check your OTP and network An OTP that has not arrived in a minute may be the handset side. Check the signal and move between Wi-Fi and mobile data before asking for another one.
