Check the reports on this page. The ai1 app, net banking and UPI all reach the same Canara account, so if one fails, try another. When all three draw reports together, it is a technical issue at Canara's end.

Two clocks drive it. Outside those, a failure only you can see may be the app needing an update or a user ID locked after repeated password attempts.

Pay the same amount once from a different UPI app, or from ai1. If Google Pay, PhonePe and ai1 all fail for your Canara account, the fault is on Canara's UPI side, so wait instead of paying again. Money taken for a failed UPI payment comes back to the account, by T+1 under RBI rules.

Do not send it again. The amount comes back; for UPI and IMPS, Canara has one working day under the RBI's turnaround rule. Note the reference, and if it has not returned, write to the customer service section with your account number.

Call 1800 1030 and ask for the card to be blocked. Canara's own outgoing calls come from numbers starting 1600, so a caller from any other number asking for an OTP is not the bank.
