About BigBasket

BigBasket is India's oldest large online grocer, founded well before quick commerce existed, and it is now part of the Tata group through Tata Digital.

Its original model was the planned weekly shop, a full basket delivered in a slot you chose, and it has since added BB Now for fast delivery to compete with the ten minute apps. Subscription and repeat ordering are a big part of how people use it. Weekend mornings and the start of the month, when households restock, are its busiest windows.
