Swiggy Instamart delivers groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, meat and household items from nearby merchants' stores, ordered in the Instamart app or the Swiggy app. It is run by Swiggy Instamart Private Limited, a company separate from Swiggy Limited's food delivery business.
Instamart delivers only to select localities of the cities it serves, among them Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Kochi, Noida and Vadodara, and only while the stores and delivery partners near you are working.

Check the reports on this page. Many reports from different cities in the same few minutes point to a fault on Instamart's side. Few reports? Look at what is closer to you: the app version, your connection and the store that serves your address.
Instamart's terms say it works only during the working hours of the merchants and delivery partners near you, and only in select localities. So a closed store or no free delivery partner can stop orders while the app itself is fine. When the app itself crashes or checkout breaks for lots of users here, Instamart is at fault.
- Not covered: Instamart delivers only to select localities, so some addresses get no service at any hour.
- Paused: the nearby store is closed, items are out, or no delivery partner is free; this comes back later.
- Outage: lots of Instamart users hit errors together, which shows up as reports here.
Do not pay again. Instamart's refund policy sends the money back to the source. LazyPay and Paytm, Mobikwik or Freecharge wallets get it in about 2 hours; UPI, cards, net banking, Amazon Pay and PhonePe take 5 to 7 business days. Keep the bank reference until it shows.
