If Paytm isn't working

Payment failed but money debited? Do not pay again. Open the order in the app. Banks credit a failed payment back within two working days.
Recharge stuck as pending? The operator still has to confirm it. Give it time and check the order before repeating it.
App not opening? Update the app, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then sign in again.
Need a person? Open Help and Support in the app, pick the service, then the transaction. The assistant hands the details on.

Is there a problem with Paytm today? Check the reports on this page and read what people are actually reporting; many at once mean Paytm is facing a technical issue. Paytm covers UPI, wallet, recharges and merchant payments, and one failing payment is often the bank at one end rather than Paytm.

Paytm is several products behind one icon: UPI, wallet, recharges, bill payments and the merchant QR. They break separately, so check whether the thing you are doing is the thing that is down.

Paytm says a pending UPI payment gets its final status within 24 hours, and a failed one is credited back within two working days. Do not pay again in between.
