Recheck the article number Speed Post and registered articles use thirteen characters, two letters then nine digits then two letters. Copy it exactly from the receipt.
Wait for the next scan An article updates only when an office scans it. Give it a day before you raise a complaint, unless the delivery date has passed.
Try the site and the app Track on indiapost.gov.in and in the DakSewa app. When one will not load, the other may.
Ask at the booking post office The office that booked the article can look it up directly, which is quicker than the portal for one item.

The two usual reasons are a maintenance window, announced on the India Post home page, and a mistyped article number. If the site opens but tracking shows nothing, copy the 13-character number again from your receipt and try the DakSewa app as well.

If it is past the expected delivery date, file a complaint on India Post's site with the article number.
