If VRL Logistics isn't working

Many states, or one LR? Many reports from different states at once point at VRL. A single empty result points at the number you typed.
Switch between LR No. and Courier No. The tracking page has two tabs. Try the number under the other one before assuming a fault.
Read the LR number off the receipt Type it again from the booking copy. One wrong digit returns an empty screen that looks just like an outage.
Expect no fixed delivery date VRL delivers on a best-effort basis; route conditions, weather and government checks can hold a parcel at a branch without anything being wrong with tracking.

Other ways to access VRL Logistics

Collect from the destination godown Most VRL parcels are godown delivery. Take the original LR copy and an ID proof to the destination branch and collect it there.
Send someone to collect it A representative can pick up the parcel with an authorisation letter, a copy of your ID proof and the LR copy.
Book at a VRL branch counter If the pickup request form fails, book the parcel at the nearest branch, found by pin code in the Branch Locator.
Call customer care The verified VRL contact details carry the toll-free line, the customer care mailbox and the city office emails.

Questions

It is, if reports on this page pile up from several states together. Then VRL is facing issues and vrlgroup.in or its tracking is failing for everyone. A blank result for one LR number, with no other reports, usually points to the number itself.

Check which box you used first. The tracking page has one box for the LR No. and another for the Courier No., and a number entered under the wrong one returns nothing. A missing digit gives the same blank result. If every LR number fails for every sender, the site has a technical issue.

Use the LR number instead. VRL's tracking page takes the LR number or the courier number from your booking receipt. Lost the receipt? Call 1800 599 7800 or ask the branch where the parcel was booked.

Open the Branch Locator on vrlgroup.in and search by state, city or pin code. If nothing comes up for yours, ring the nearest branch listed and ask before booking. VRL says delivery is best-effort and lists RTO inspections, GST and e-way bill checks and state border checks among the causes of delay. A blank tracking page for many people at once is the site itself.

Seven days from arrival. After that VRL's parcel terms charge Rs. 30 per quintal, or Rs. 30 per carton for items like a TV or fridge, for every day it waits. Goods left too long are moved to VRL's unclaimed property section at Varur, Hubballi.

Tell the delivery branch at once and write the damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Keep the packaging, and have the invoice, photos and LR copy ready for the claim. VRL does not offer open delivery, so check the outside of the package before you accept it. Its terms take no complaint after seven days from delivery or thirty days from booking, whichever comes first.
