DTDC, short for Desk to Desk Courier and Cargo, was founded in 1990 and works through a franchise model, which is why nearly every neighbourhood market in an Indian city has a small DTDC counter in it.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, it handles domestic and international parcels and documents for individuals and small businesses more than for large ecommerce platforms. People come to its site to track a consignment or find the nearest branch.
