Go by the DHL reports on this page. When many people cannot open MyDHL+ or get a tracking result, DHL is facing issues. When only your shipment is quiet, the systems are working, so check the waybill number with the sender.

Try the waybill number on MyDHL+ and on DHL's WhatsApp assistant, +91 9076 345 345, which tracks shipments round the clock. MyDHL+ also tracks by reference if you have one. If both fail for your number only, check it with the sender. If tracking fails for everyone, DHL tracking has a technical issue.

Check before you pay. DHL says the only payments it asks for by email or SMS are customs duties and taxes, and it sends an OTP to the receiver's registered contact before that payment goes through. It never emails from Gmail, Yahoo or other free services, and never links to sites outside its own domains. Send a screenshot to [email protected]; DHL investigates but does not reply personally.
