Shoppers across India report Amazon problems on this page as they happen. A burst from many cities at once means the fault is with Amazon. With only a trickle of reports, check your own app, connection and payment method first.

A spike of reports here means Amazon has the fault. Without one, look at payment first: Amazon lists wrong card details, a card blocked for online use, a page closed or refreshed mid-payment, and a bank outage as common reasons. Update the app and compare with the website.

Do not pay again unless Amazon emails you or you are sure it failed. If you see 'We haven't received payment confirmation from your bank', the order cancels itself when payment is not completed within the time in the email. Net banking confirmation can take a few days, and your bank can give an instant status.

Check the name, card number, CVV, expiry and 3D-secure PIN, and make sure the card is enabled for online payments. Under RBI rules, a card never used online, or issued on or before 16 March 2020, must be activated by your bank first. To retry, open the order in Your Orders.

Amazon processes refund requests within 13 days of pickup. After that, Amazon Pay balance and vouchers take up to 4 hours, cards, net banking and UPI up to 5 working days, and a paper cheque up to 10 working days. If it shows refunded but the money has not come, give your bank the RRN from Transactions.
