About Meesho

Meesho works on a different idea from the other marketplaces. It sells mostly unbranded, low priced goods and it charges sellers no commission on many categories, which keeps prices low enough for first-time online shoppers.

That has made it enormous in tier 2 and tier 3 towns, where much of its order volume comes from, and a lot of its early growth came through resellers sharing catalogues on WhatsApp. Its peaks come during festive sale periods, when a very large number of small-value orders land at once.

Payment failed but money deducted? Do not pay again. A debited but unconfirmed payment is refunded. Check My Orders first, and keep the UPI reference number.
'Service unreachable' or verification failed? Update the app, clear its cache and log in again. This often follows an app update or a busy period.
App freezing or features not loading? Update or reinstall the app and clear its cache. Try the website to check whether it is the app or Meesho itself.
COD missing? Cash on Delivery can be limited by the item or address. Try a different address or pay online in the meantime.
