Vested exists for one job, moving Indian money into global markets, and it does no domestic broking at all. The group splits across entities, with VF Securities, a FINRA member broker dealer, holding the US stocks and funds while an SEC registered adviser runs the managed portfolios.

Alongside US stocks and ETFs it offers global funds spanning dozens of countries, pre IPO private market deals, and a route for employees to diversify out of ESOPs and RSUs. As of December 2025 it reported assets under administration above ten thousand crore rupees and roughly four lakh global portfolios opened.

One quirk catches people out, the support address sits on vestedfinance.co while the website is vestedfinance.com, so a real reply can look like a phishing attempt at first glance.

If Vested isn't working

Consult the live status above Rising reports mean sitting tight. No client side fix exists for a platform fault, and the US session is short enough that it matters.
Check the US market clock Nothing moves outside US trading hours, which fall in the Indian evening. A still portfolio at lunchtime is not a fault.
Confirm before repeating a transfer Money sent abroad takes days and passes through your bank. Sending it twice is far harder to unwind than waiting.
Look for a document request Remittances get held pending paperwork more often than they fail technically. Check your email and the bank's messages.
Try the browser Web access and the mobile build break independently, so switching takes seconds and rules one of them out.

Other ways to access Vested

Use the web platform If the app will not open, the browser version usually will, and no reinstall is needed.
Ask your bank about the transfer For money that has left your account but not appeared, the bank can trace the remittance faster than the platform can.
Watch the market elsewhere Any US market data source shows you where your holdings stand while access is restored.

Timing explains a lot of it. US markets open in the Indian evening, so an app that looks frozen at midday is simply showing a closed market. Real failures cluster around the US open and around fund transfers, which pass through banks and a currency conversion before they land.

Rarely. Sending money abroad runs through your bank under the liberalised remittance scheme, with paperwork and a currency conversion in between, so several working days is normal. A hold usually means the bank wants a document.

No. It does global investing only, US stocks, ETFs, global funds and pre IPO deals. If you are looking for a domestic trade, that is a different platform entirely, not a broken feature here.
