About Angel One

Angel One started in 1996 as Angel Broking, a traditional full-service firm with branches and sub-brokers, and rebranded in 2020 after moving to a low cost, app-first model. That shift worked, it is now one of the three biggest brokers in India by active clients.

Customers trade stocks, derivatives, mutual funds and IPOs through its app and website, with research and advisory available alongside. Its retail base runs deep into smaller cities, which came partly from the old branch network.
