About Upstox

Upstox is a discount broker used for stocks, futures and options, mutual funds and IPOs, run through its app and web platform. It is among the larger brokers by active clients and counts well known names including Ratan Tata among its early backers.

Its pitch has always been low flat brokerage and quick order placement, which suits frequent traders. Load climbs at the 9:15 open, on expiry days and whenever the index swings hard, when a great many orders hit within the same few minutes.
