If Upstox isn't working

Count the trader reports If many traders are reporting Upstox right now, the fault is at Upstox's end. Wait for it to clear before reinstalling the app.
See the order book before retrying Check whether the order reached the exchange before placing it again, so you do not double your position.
Try Pro Web or the app Pro Web and the Pro Mobile app are separate ways in. If one will not load, log in on the other with the same account.
UPI add funds failing A UPI request fails if your UPI app's bank account is not the one registered with Upstox. Switch to the registered account and try again.
Withdrawal not in yet If the money has not arrived in the stated time, Upstox asks you to wait until the end of the day before raising a ticket.

Use a standard withdrawal If an instant withdrawal is refused because of open positions or IMPS, place a standard withdrawal instead. Placed before 8 AM, it reaches your bank by 3 PM.
Add funds another way If UPI keeps failing, pay by net banking, IMPS or NEFT, always from the bank account registered with Upstox. NEFT and RTGS take 3 to 4 working hours to show.

Check your order book and wallet before assuming an outage. Money added today cannot be withdrawn the same day, and an IMPS top-up takes about 30 minutes to show. If the app itself will not load and others are reporting it too, the fault is at Upstox's end.

It costs Rs 20 plus GST, runs from Rs 100 to Rs 5 lakh a day, and needs zero used margin and no open positions. A standard withdrawal placed before 8 AM arrives by 3 PM the same day; after 8 AM, by 3 PM on the next trading day.
