About Sharekhan

Sharekhan, now formally Mirae Asset Sharekhan, was among the first brokers to put Indian retail trading online when it launched in 2000. The Korean group Mirae Asset bought it in 2024 and the familiar name stayed.

It is a full service house rather than a discount one, which shows in the shape of it, research desks, relationship managers and a physical network of some 900 locations sitting alongside the apps. TradeTiger on the desktop and Dial-N-Trade for placing orders by phone have both been around long enough to have loyal users.

By the close of 2025 it reported over 32 lakh customers and roughly three lakh crore rupees in customer assets. Load peaks at the open and on expiry days.
