The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) recruits for Tamil Nadu government posts through exams such as the Combined Civil Services Examinations for Group I, Group II and IIA, and Group IV services, and the Combined Technical Services Examinations.

Its website, tnpsc.gov.in, carries notifications, the annual planner, hall tickets, answer keys, results and counselling schedules. Candidates download hall tickets and documents such as OMR answer sheets through their One Time Registration (OTR) login.

Recover a lost OTR user ID or password The OTR login page has separate links for a forgotten user ID and a forgotten password. Use them before registering again.
Log in through OTR Your One Time Registration login is where hall tickets and OMR answer sheets are downloaded. Keep the OTR ID and password ready.
Find your exam by notification number Results, answer keys and hall tickets are filed by examination and notification number. Note yours before you search.
Rule out your own device If only you cannot open the site, clear the browser cache or test it on a different connection.
Compare with other candidates If many people are reporting TNPSC right now, the problem is at the commission's end.

Other ways to access TNPSC

Email the right desk OTR and online application problems go to [email protected]; any other matter to [email protected]. TNPSC answers general queries by email the same day.
Write to the Secretary by post Letters go to the Secretary, TNPSC, TNPSC Road, V.O.C. Nagar, Park Town, Chennai 600003. Include the exam name, notification number and year, registration number, full name, postal address and email ID, or the letter is not attended to.
Visit the Grievance Redressal Call Center Candidates can also ask in person at the commission in Chennai, where the call center gives general information on the spot.

Questions

Check the TNPSC reports on this page. Many reports at once mean tnpsc.gov.in or the OTR login has a problem for everyone. A problem only you see is worth testing on a second browser or network first.

Check which part fails: the main site, the OTR login, or a single result or hall ticket page. Because hall tickets and OMR copies come through your OTR login, an OTR fault can look like the whole site is down.

If many candidates report it here at the same time, the fault is at the commission's end, so wait and try again. If only you are affected, clear the browser cache or change your network. Hall tickets and applications open from the separate OTR portal, apply.tnpscexams.in, so try that address directly too.
