Answer: No KEA issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it responded normally at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 4:03 AM IST.

Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About KEA

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), at Malleshwaram in Bengaluru, runs KCET (UGCET) and the state's seat allotment for engineering, medical (UGNEET), DCET, PGCET, KSET and nursing courses. It also conducts many state recruitment exams.

Everything runs on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea: applications, hall tickets, key answer objections, option entry and round-wise seat allotment results. Several of these links open on separate KEA servers, so one can fail while the main page loads.

If KEA isn't working

  • Open links from the KEA home page KEA changes links each round. Old bookmarks can point to closed portals.

  • Keep your CET number and password ready Most KEA logins ask for the application or CET number.

  • Try after the first rush Result and option entry days are busiest in the first hours. Try again late evening.

  • Prepare your options offline Write down your college and course order first, so a timeout does not cost you time.

  • Check live reports here Many Karnataka candidates reporting together means KEA's server is down.

Other ways to access KEA

  • Use the KEA mobile app The Android app carries KEA notices and links when the website is slow.

  • Follow KEA on X KEA's X account is another place to check for updates when the website will not load.

  • Read the round notice Each allotment round has a notice on the UGCET page with its dates and steps.

  • Call KEA For a stuck application or allotment, the KEA helpline page has the phone number, timings and email.

Questions

This page watches cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and lists reports from candidates. A rush of reports on a result or option entry day means KEA's servers are overloaded. If the KEA home page opens but one link does not, only that portal is struggling.

KEA's busiest days are result day, the first hours of option entry and each seat allotment round. Thousands of KCET and NEET candidates log in at once, and pages time out. Many KEA links also run on separate servers, so one can be down while the main page works.

Open the option entry link from the KEA home page itself, and try again after the first rush. Keep your list of colleges and courses ready before you log in. Watch the round's last date on KEA's notices, as extensions are announced there.

Results of each round, mock, provisional and final, are posted as separate links on the UGCET page of the KEA site. If one link is slow, wait a while and retry, keeping your CET number ready.

The Common section of the KEA page carries the hall ticket download, OMR view and key answer objection links. Each opens only in its announced window.

On the Diploma CET (DCET) 2026 page of the KEA site. DCET is KEA's entrance for diploma holders seeking lateral entry to B.E./B.Tech and architecture, with a separate stream for working professionals.

For 2026, the mock allotment result came on 6 August, the first round final result on 18 August, and the second round final result on 5 September 2026. Each round's option entry, fee payment and result links sit on that page.

Yes. KEA's contact page shows a QR code for the KEA Mobile app on Android, which carries notices and links when the website is slow.

Yes. The download button on the status card saves a server down image with KEA's status, the time of our last check, and how many users are reporting problems.
