Q: Where can I check my RRB result?

On your own board's page at rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, not on the apply portal. RRB uploads the results of the CBT, document verification, the medical exam and empanelment there. Open the board you applied to, since each board posts its own list.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) hire staff for Indian Railways under the Ministry of Railways, through exams such as NTPC (graduate and undergraduate), Group D (Level-1), ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot), JE, Technician, Section Controller and Paramedical. All 21 boards take applications through one portal, rrbapply.gov.in.

There a candidate creates an account once, applies to one board, pays the fee online and later corrects the form in the modification window. Notices, e-call letters and results go up on each board's page on the unified RRB website, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.

RRB itself asks candidates to apply well before the closing date, because traffic runs heavy in the final days.

If RRB isn't working

Apply before the last-day rush RRB's notices warn that traffic runs heavy in the final days before a closing date. The fee also has its own last date, a little after the application closes, so do not leave both to the end.
Reset a forgotten password Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your Aadhaar number, or your registered email or mobile number, with your date of birth. The new password goes only to your registered email.
Log in with the details you registered Login takes the registered mobile number or email, and the password. RRB does not change a mobile number or email at any stage, so keep both active until the recruitment ends.
Check the live status on this page If many candidates are reporting RRB at the same time, the portal itself is under strain. Wait some time and then try again.

Other ways to access RRB

Fill the form on your phone RRB allows the application to be filled on a smartphone through a web browser. If the laptop keeps timing out, try from the phone on mobile data.
Go to a Common Services Centre RRB names the Common Services Centres (CSC) for help with the online application and fee payment. There are over 1.5 lakh of them, and Find My CSC shows the nearest.
Read notices on the RRB website When the apply portal is slow, notices, e-call letters and results can still be checked board by board on rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.

The live check on this page tests rrbapply.gov.in, and the reports on this page come from other candidates. If both show trouble, the portal is struggling for everyone. If they look normal, check your own connection and browser first.

Heavy load near a closing date is the problem RRB itself warns about. Its notices ask candidates to apply well before the last date, because traffic runs high in the final days. If the portal opens but you cannot log in, check your password, or use Forgot Password.

Look for the payment confirmation by email and SMS first. RRB accepts an application only after the fee is confirmed. The fee is paid online only, through net banking, a debit or credit card, or UPI. If money left your account and no confirmation came, write to the portal helpdesk with your registration number before the notice's last date for fee payment.

From your board's page on rrb.indianrailways.gov.in. RRB puts up the e-call letter about four days before the CBT, and the exam city intimation about ten days before. Nothing comes by post. SMS and email alerts are sent too, but RRB asks candidates to keep checking the website since messages can fail.
