If Testbook isn't working

Switch between app and website If testbook.com fails, try the Testbook app, or the other way round.
Update the Testbook app An old app version can fail to load new tests. Update it from the Play Store.
Clear the browser cache On a laptop, clear the cache or open Testbook in another browser.
Check your Pass validity If tests are missing from My Tests, check whether your Pass has expired. Renewing brings them back.
Check the live status here Many students reporting in the same minute means Testbook itself is down. Retry after some time.

Take the test on your phone The Testbook app runs the same tests when the website will not load on your laptop.
Revise with previous year papers Free previous year papers and study notes on Testbook keep your practice going while a live test is stuck.
Reattempt from My Tests later Attempted and pending tests stay in your account, so you can come back once the server settles.

Questions

Look at the status card here first. It checks testbook.com and collects reports from students. Many reports together mean the problem is at Testbook's end. If only one test fails to open while the rest of the app works, reopen it from My Tests or try it on the other device.

Check whether it is the app or the website. The two can behave differently, so try the other one before deciding Testbook is down. If both fail and many students report it here, the fault is on Testbook's side; try again after some time, and your attempted tests stay in your account.

Reload the page in another browser, or clear the cache of the one you use. If the website still fails, take the test on the Testbook app: Testbook says tests can be attempted on a phone. Your attempted tests stay under the Attempted Tests tab.

Wait before paying again. Testbook says a failed transaction is generally refunded to your bank account automatically, and for a UPI payment the RBI turnaround is T+1, the next working day. If the money does not come back, email support with the transaction ID and your registered mobile number.

Check the Pass validity in your account settings first. An expired Pass hides its tests from My Tests, and renewing brings them back. If the Pass is still active, write to support with your registered details.
