About Quora

Quora is a question-and-answer platform where people ask questions, write answers, follow topics and join Spaces. Indian users read and write on it in English and in Hindi at hi.quora.com, on the website and the Quora app.

Quora also sends personalised digest emails and runs Quora+ subscriptions and earnings programmes. When Quora is down, the feed, answers, login and the app can all stop loading.

Reload Quora A refresh clears many brief loading errors.

Pause ad blockers Browser extensions can stop answers and the feed from loading.
Update the Quora app An old app version may not open after an update on Quora's side.

We check quora.com live; that result and reports from Quora users in India fill the status card above. Many reports in a short spell mean Quora itself is having trouble.

When users all over India report together, Quora is facing a technical issue, such as an internal server error. Wait and reload later.

When it is only you, refresh, log out and back in, or switch between the Quora app and the website.

Reload the page, then try another browser or turn off ad blockers for quora.com. In the Quora app, install the latest update and try a different network.

On the login screen, enter your email and click Forgot Password?. Quora emails a reset link. If it does not arrive, check spam and whitelist [email protected].

Quora sends reset emails only to the address on the account. If you are still logged in, add a new email in Settings and set it as primary. If you signed up with Google or Facebook, log in through that instead.

Go to Settings, then Email & Notifications, and turn off the emails you do not want. Most Quora emails also have an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Legal notices, such as Terms of Service updates, cannot be switched off.

Deactivating stops all Quora emails and notifications but keeps your content on the site, and you can come back by logging in. Deleting removes your content for good and cannot be undone; questions, topics and Spaces stay as community property.
