About Pune Metro
Run by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (Maha Metro), Pune Metro has two lines: the Purple Line from PCMC to Swargate and the Aqua Line from Vanaz to Ramwadi.
Riders buy paper QR tickets at the station counter, QR tickets in the Pune Metro app, or e-tickets on WhatsApp. The One Pune Card, a contactless NCMC RuPay card, takes a discount off every ride.

Install the latest Pune Metro (Official App) and try again. If booking still fails, there are other ways to get a ticket:
- Send Hi on WhatsApp to 9420101990 for an e-ticket.
- Buy a paper QR ticket at the station counter, with cash if needed.
- Tap a One Pune Card at the gate.
Check that you messaged Maha Metro's own number, 9420101990, starting with Hi. If WhatsApp itself is down, book in the Pune Metro app or buy a paper QR ticket at the station counter.
The card needs one more step at a station after you pay online.
- Top up on the One Pune Card customer portal.
- Insert the card into an Add Value Machine (AVM) at any Pune Metro station.
The chip holds up to Rs 2,000 for gate payments. A top-up at the station counter updates the chip straight away. Each top-up carries a fee of 1.8%, capped at Rs 12.
Up to 30%, depending on how you pay:
- Digital tickets and the Non-KYC One Pune Card: 10% off on weekdays and 30% off on Saturdays and Sundays.
- One Pune Card (KYC): 10% off every ride.
- One Pune Vidyarthi Pass: 30% off on all days, for students up to graduation level.
Yes. Maha Metro's commuter guide lists a daily pass at Rs 100. It gives unlimited rides on all routes for one full business day, and you can enter and exit as many times as you like. The pass amount is not refunded.
