Answer: No OTET issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it responded normally at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 4:07 AM IST.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About OTET
Anyone who wants to teach Classes I to VIII in Odisha's government, aided or private schools needs OTET, the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, Cuttack, conducts it for both fresh and in-service candidates.
Applications, admit cards, results and digital certificates run on the OTET portal, bseoexams.org, while notices sit on bseodisha.nic.in. OTET 2026 was held on 5 July 2026 in two papers, and the result is out.
19-day history
We checked 19 times over the last 19 days — healthy on 19 days. It typically responds in about 0.1s.
Dashed line is its usual 0.1s, measured over the last 14 days. Gaps are days with no timing data.

Questions
Check our OTET card for bseoexams.org and the reports from candidates. A rush of reports from across Odisha means BSE's portal is down.
Heavy logins on admit card or result day slow the portal for everyone.
Two more causes are common. Each year needs a fresh registration, so old 2024 or 2025 logins do not work. And the login needs your email or mobile number with the password, or your date of birth.
On 5 July 2026. Paper I ran from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and Paper II from 2 PM to 4.30 PM. Online applications closed on 9 May 2026.
Log in on bseoexams.org and use Click to View Result. Qualified candidates can download their digital certificate from the same login, and others can view their OMR copy.
Two papers of 150 multiple-choice questions, each 2.5 hours long, with no negative marking.
- Paper I: child development, Language I, English, maths and environmental science.
- Paper II: child development, Language I, English, and either maths and science or social studies.
Language I can be Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu or Bengali.
Candidates with the required academic and teacher-training qualifications, and those in the final year of a teacher training course. It is for teaching Classes I to VIII in Odisha. Teachers in private unaided schools may take CTET instead.
