Questions

Reports from Notion users in India add up here, beside a check of notion.so. Notion itself posts outages on notion-status.com and @NotionStatus on X. If those are clear, check your network and device.

Notion's own checklist when it will not open:

Check the status page and @NotionStatus.
Turn off firewalls, VPNs or privacy software that may block notion.com.
Check whether your internet provider blocks the notion.com domain.
Try a public DNS such as 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1.
Switch browser, device or between the app and the web.

On desktop, choose View, then Force reload. If that fails, open Help, then Troubleshooting, then Reset & Erase All Local Data, and log in again.

On a phone, delete and reinstall the app. Your pages are synced to your account, so they come back.

Go to notion.com/login in a browser.
Select Forgot password?, enter your email and select Send reset link.
Open the link to set a new password in Settings.

If you skip setting one, you can still log in with temporary codes.

Yes, if you have a Notion password set. Go to Settings, then your name, then Manage emails under Account security. Add the new email, verify it with the code, and make it primary. Without a password, Notion may ask you to verify through the old email.

Notion's help says some internet providers can block the notion.com domain. If Notion fails only on one network, try mobile data or another connection, or change your DNS to a public one.
