Clear the Teams cache Delete the Teams cache folder, then restart the app; this keeps Teams installed.

A lobby request times out after 30 minutes without a response.

On Windows, quit Teams from the taskbar, open %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams in File Explorer, delete everything in that folder, and restart Teams.

On a Mac, quit Teams, delete ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams, and open it again. Your Teams app stays installed.

The meeting accepts only people signed in with a Teams work or school account. Sign in with the account the invite was sent to. If you organised it, your IT admin can allow outside guests, and the change can take up to 24 hours.

It can be. Work and school Teams accounts follow settings from your organisation's IT admin, so a block on meetings or calls may apply only there. Check @MSFT365Status for a wider Microsoft incident, then ask your IT team.
