About Nainital Bank

Founded in Nainital in 1922, with Govind Ballabh Pant among its founders, The Nainital Bank Limited is one of India's old generation private sector banks. Most people just call it Nainital Bank or Naini Bank. Bank of Baroda has managed it since 1973 on the Reserve Bank's direction, and today holds about 98.57 per cent of its shares.

More than half its branches are in Uttarakhand, with the rest in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. Customers bank online through NainiNet net banking and the Naini Neo app. Before any planned work, a homepage notice gives its date and time window, and online payments can fail on and off till it is over.
