If MX Player isn't working

Compare with other viewers If many viewers report MX Player right now, it is a wider problem. Wait for some time before reinstalling anything.
Accept Move to Prime Video On iPhone, the TV app or the website, choose Move to Prime Video when asked. Your watch history moves across to your Amazon account.
Log in with Amazon Social logins no longer work on the Android app. Sign in with an Amazon account, then use Resolve issues in my account under Profile.
Buffering or heavy data use Switch networks and retry. Turning on Data Saver in the app's settings also cuts the data a video uses.

Other ways to access MX Player

Watch in the Prime Video app MX Originals and VDesi shows play free in the Prime Video app too, on Android, iOS and TVs.
Use the MX Player Android app The Android app stays on Google Play, with the Videos tab, Fatafat and the local video player for files on your phone.
Download again after a logout If a social login was removed, earlier downloads are gone. Log in with Amazon and download the episodes again for offline viewing.
Support routes The verified MX Player helpline page has the in-app Help route and the MX Player help portal.

Official channels during an outage: X · Facebook · Instagram · YouTube · Website

MX Player stopped Google, Facebook, Apple and Truecaller logins on 1 July 2026. Sign in with an Amazon account instead, then use Profile, Resolve issues in my account to bring back your watch history. Old downloads have to be downloaded again.

Yes. MX Originals, VDesi shows and other MX Player content stay free with ads. A Prime membership is needed only for Prime Video's premium library, and the old MX Gold and Silver plans are no longer sold.
