JioSaavn, run by Saavn Media Limited, streams film, regional, devotional and English music, along with podcasts, on its app and at jiosaavn.com. In India it has a free plan with ads and some limits, plus paid plans, while in the United States and Canada it is paid only.

Online play works on one device at a time, and English songs stream only within India. JioTune, its caller tune feature, needs a Jio SIM, and the app also plays through Alexa, Google Home, Sonos and a TV.

Seeing a switch device error? Tap Switch when the app asks. Your account plays online on one device at a time.
Downloads not playing? Remove the song from Downloads in My Library and download it again. Downloads need an active subscription.
Website not playing? Clear the browser cache and refresh, or open jiosaavn.com in another browser.

Check the user reports on this page. If listeners across India report songs not playing or the app not opening at the same time, JioSaavn has downtime or a technical issue on its side. When the problem is yours alone, restart the app on a stable connection first, which is JioSaavn's own first fix.

Check three things JioSaavn's help centre points to. Another phone or TV streaming on your account stops yours until you tap Switch, since only one device can play online at once. English songs stream only inside India. And an old app version can stop songs playing online, so update it and restart the phone.

For Bluetooth, disconnect and reconnect the device, keep a stable internet connection and play again from the phone. For Alexa, add JioSaavn as a Music Skill in the Alexa app and link your account there. To cast, keep the phone and the TV or speaker on the same Wi-Fi and tap the cast icon on the player screen.

Connect to a stable network and try again. If the OTP does not arrive, restart the phone, wait a while and check the spam folder of your SMS inbox. Still stuck? Send your login ID and a screenshot of the error through Contact us/Chat with us in the app settings.

Relaunch the app and check your plan in the app settings. After a Failed Transaction error, confirm the payment in your UPI or bank app before paying again. If the plan still does not show, write in through Contact us/Chat with us.

JioSaavn runs only in selected regions: free with ads in India, and paid only in the United States and Canada. Elsewhere, what plays depends on its music licences, and English songs stream only within India.
