About Meghalaya Rural Bank
Set up on 29 December 1981 as Ka Bank Nongkyndong Ri Khasi Jaintia, Meghalaya Rural Bank (MRB) took its present name on 1 May 2007. It was the first regional rural bank in the North-East sponsored by State Bank of India, and runs from a head office at Barik Point, Shillong.
