About Indian Overseas Bank

Founded in 1937 with foreign exchange business in mind, Indian Overseas Bank is today a public sector bank owned by the Government of India, with its central office on Anna Salai in Chennai. The branch network is heaviest in Tamil Nadu and the other southern states, and there is a smaller presence abroad.

Account holders bank through net banking, the IOB Mobile app, UPI and their cards, and the bank runs schemes for pensioners and senior customers, including video-based life certificates for pensioners.

No OTP? Look at the phone first Wait a minute, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and check that the number registered with IOB is the one in the handset.
Update IOB Mobile or clear its data An app nobody has updated in months is a common reason a screen loads halfway. Update it from the store, or clear the app data and sign in again with your customer ID.

Keep the reference number and check your passbook or statement rather than paying twice. Give the OTP a minute before asking for a fresh one, and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data in the meantime. If IOB Mobile is still stuck, use net banking in a browser with the same customer ID.
