About IGL

Piped cooking gas across Delhi and much of the NCR comes from Indraprastha Gas Limited. IGL took the city gas distribution project over from GAIL in 1999. GAIL and BPCL are still its promoters.

The network is large. IGL reported 35.5 lakh domestic PNG connections and 1,025 CNG stations as on 31 July 2026. Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Meerut and Kanpur are all covered, along with a dozen smaller towns.

Bills, payments and new connection requests run through the customer zone on the site. A WhatsApp channel answers bill queries, and CNG drivers use the same site to locate a station.

If IGL isn't working

Are Delhi and NCR both reporting? When Delhi and the NCR towns report together, it is IGL's systems. One household alone points closer to home.
Keep the payment reference before retrying Write the bank reference down before you try again. It proves the payment if the bill does not update.
Try the WhatsApp route for bills Bill and payment queries answer over WhatsApp and do not need the portal to be working.
Separate the site from the customer login The information pages and the Customer Login are separate. If one opens and the other does not, pay through Insta Payment or ask IGL Genie on WhatsApp.
Never use a website for a gas leak A suspected leak goes to the leakage number immediately. No online channel is the right route for that.

Pay through your bank or Paytm Register Indraprastha Gas Limited as a utility biller in your bank's Bill Pay with your BP Number, or pay under Gas in the Paytm app.
Ask IGL Genie on WhatsApp Save 7065511111 and send Hi from your registered WhatsApp number. IGL Genie shows bill and payment options without the website.
Visit a walk-in centre Two counters take walk-ins six days a week, one in Delhi and one in Noida, for anything the portal will not do.
Call the right desk The verified IGL contact numbers keep customer care apart from the leakage emergency lines, including the separate numbers for towns outside Delhi.
