Answer: No TPCODL issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it responded normally at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 4:02 AM IST.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About TPCODL
TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) supplies electricity to about 1.36 crore people across 29,354 sq km of central Odisha, with circles at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Paradeep. It is a joint venture in which Tata Power holds 51 per cent and the Government of Odisha the rest. The company runs the network that was earlier CESU.
The website takes bill payments against a CA number or account number, lists planned shutdowns on its Outage Status page and registers supply, voltage and billing complaints. Bills can also be viewed and paid in the My Tata Power+ app.
47-day history
We checked 60 times over the last 47 days — healthy on 47 days. It typically responds in about 0.3s.
Dashed line is its usual 0.3s, measured over the last 14 days. Gaps are days with no timing data.
If TPCODL isn't working
-
Are several circles reporting? When consumers from more than one circle report at once, the fault is with TPCODL's systems, not your phone or browser.
-
Test the page you actually need The home page can load while bill payment or complaints are not working. Open the bill page itself to see whether it is the part you need that is down.
-
Keep the payment reference If money left and the bill still reads unpaid, the transaction reference is what proves the payment. Note it before you close the tab.
-
Have your CA number ready Payments, complaints and the feedback form all ask for it. It is printed on your bill, and TPCODL also calls it the customer ID or account number.
-
Call the helpline for supply faults For no power, low voltage or a meter fault, call 1912 or 1800 2027 with your CA number. The Request/Complaint page on the website also takes no-supply and voltage complaints.

Questions
Check the consumer reports on this page and when we last tested TPCODL's site. If people in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and other circles all report together, TPCODL's own systems are failing. A single failed payment can still be your bank or your network.
Check which part has stopped. TPCODL's services sit in different places:
- Bill payment runs on the Pay Your Bill page of tpcentralodisha.com.
- Customer Login opens the My Tata Power+ portal, where you view bills and track requests.
- Complaints for no supply, voltage or billing go through the Request/Complaint page.
If only one of them fails, use another route for now, or call 1912.
Your consumer number is the CA number, which TPCODL also calls the customer ID or account number. You will find it on your TPCODL bill. The Pay Your Bill page takes it, or a notification or document number. Keep it ready before you call 1912, so the complaint is logged against your connection.
Do not pay again straight away. Keep the transaction reference and give it a working day. If the bill still reads unpaid, call 1912 or 1800 2027, or write to TPCODL's customer care email with the reference and your CA number. TPCODL's payment page names these same routes for payment problems.
For planned cuts, open Outage Status on TPCODL's website. It lists each shutdown by circle, division and feeder, with the start time, the expected restoration time and the areas affected.
This page tracks TPCODL's website, not the supply. For a cut that is not on that list, call 1912 with your CA number so the fault is logged for your line.
Use Customer Login on TPCODL's website. It opens the My Tata Power+ consumer portal, where you can view and pay bills and raise or track service requests after signing in. TPCODL also takes bill payments in the My Tata Power+ app.
