Answer: No ICSI issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it responded normally at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 4:06 AM IST.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About ICSI
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) runs the Company Secretary (CS) course and its exams, from the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) to the Executive and Professional programmes. icsi.edu carries news, announcements and services for students and members.
Student work happens on the Smash portal, smash.icsi.edu: CSEET and student registration, exam enrolment, set or reset password, and verification of marks, inspection or certified copies of answer books. The same portal registers complaints and tracks them.
20-day history
We checked 24 times over the last 20 days — healthy on 19 days, minor issues on 1 day. It typically responds in about 0.3s.
Dashed line is its usual 0.3s, measured over the last 14 days. Gaps are days with no timing data.

Questions
The ICSI card on this page checks the Smash portal and gathers reports from CS students. A rush of reports in the same few minutes means the ICSI side has a fault, not your device.
ICSI uses two sites.
- icsi.edu carries news, announcements and member services.
- Registration, exam enrolment and complaints run on the Smash portal, smash.icsi.edu.
If one loads and the other does not, the trouble is with that one site.
Open smash.icsi.edu directly and use Set/Reset Password if login fails. Allow pop-ups for the enrolment pages, as the portal asks. If it still fails, register a complaint on Smash and keep the complaint number.
On the Smash portal. Start with CSEET registration; after passing CSEET, use Executive Registration for CSEET Passed. ICSI also offers routes for exemption based on qualifications.
Use Track Complaint on the Smash portal with your complaint number. ICSI resolves complaints and queries through this single portal.
Apply on Smash, under the option for marks verification, answer book inspection and certified copies, within the window ICSI allows after results.
The ICSI Support Desk is on 0120 452 2000 for general queries, weekdays only. The student services line and other desks are on our ICSI helpline page.
Yes. The download button on the status card saves a server down image with ICSI's status, the time of our last check, and how many users are reporting problems.
