Check your storage A full iCloud stops backups, photo uploads and Drive sync. Free up space or upgrade.

Switch network Try WiFi instead of mobile data, or the other way round, if uploads stall.

Our monitor checks icloud.com, and Apple users in India log iCloud problems on this page. Apple's System Status page lists each iCloud service separately, from iCloud Mail and Photos to Backup and Drive. If both show nothing wrong, check your device and network.
Find the part of iCloud that fails:
- iCloud Mail not sending or receiving.
- A "server error" or "unable to download" message on photos.
- Backup stuck or not starting.
- Sign-in to icloud.com failing.
Look up that service on Apple's System Status page. If it shows an issue, wait for Apple to fix it.
Check the storage first. When it is full, the iPhone stops backing up to iCloud, new photos stop uploading, and iCloud Drive stops syncing. Open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud to see what is using the space.
- Open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud.
- Use Recommended for You to delete large files or old backups you no longer need.
- Remove duplicate photos and big Messages attachments.
Make a copy of anything important before you delete it.
