About Gayatri Bank
The Gayatri Co-Operative Urban Bank Ltd, called Gayatri Bank by its customers, started in Jagtial, Telangana in September 2000. It opened its 85th branch in July 2026 and now runs branches across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, grouped into the Jagtial, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, Warangal and Vijayawada regions.
Its digital services are the Gayatri Mobile Banking app, missed-call Tollfree Banking, UPI on apps such as BHIM, Google Pay and PhonePe, and the Card e-Lock feature that keeps a debit card switched off until you need it.

This page checks gayatri.bank.in and collects reports from Gayatri Bank customers. Reports landing together from Jagtial, Karimnagar, Hyderabad and Warangal mean Gayatri Bank's own system has a problem. If yours is the only one, look at your own phone, data and app version first.
The app, UPI and ATMs failing together means trouble at the bank's end, and it clears when its system comes back. If only your debit card is refused, it may simply be switched off by Card e-Lock. Check your balance before you repeat any payment.
Check three things. The account may have gone inactive or dormant. The mobile number in the UPI app may not be the one registered with your account. Or no debit card is linked to the account. Gayatri Bank works on BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and other UPI apps. Debited but the payment did not go through? Under RBI rules a failed UPI debit is reversed by T+1, the next working day; if it is not, complain to the bank.
Check Card e-Lock first. A card registered for it stays off until you give a missed call to 07941055760 from your registered mobile, or tap Transaction On/Off in the Gayatri Mobile Banking app. It then works for ten minutes. A wrong PIN or a damaged card are the other common reasons. A forgotten PIN can be reset with the Green PIN option at any Gayatri ATM.
At ATMs, Rs 25,000 a day on the RuPay Classic card and Rs 1,00,000 on the Platinum card, with up to 10 ATM transactions a day. Shop and online purchases go up to Rs 2,00,000 on Classic and Rs 5,00,000 on Platinum. Cash at a POS machine or micro ATM is capped at Rs 2,000.
Register your email with your account and the bank sends e-Statements free of cost, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly as you choose. The mobile app shows an e-passbook and mini statement. You can also give a missed call to the Account Statement number on the bank's Tollfree Banking page from your registered mobile and get it by SMS.
