An older phone is another: since 1 January 2026, FedMobile runs only on Android 11 or iOS 17 and later. When FedNet, FedMobile and UPI fail for many customers together, it is downtime at the bank's end.

It comes back to your account; for UPI and IMPS, RBI rules allow until the next working day. A failed UPI or IMPS debit is reversed by the next working day under RBI's timelines, and the bank owes you Rs 100 a day if it is late. Keep the reference number and check your statement before you send the money again.
