If DGVCL isn't working

  • Are other DGVCL consumers reporting it? A spike in DGVCL reports means the site or the payment page is down. Try again in some time.

  • Pick the right link Bill view and UPI payment, Quick Payment, the GUVNL consumer portal and smart meter recharge are separate links on dgvcl.com. If one fails, the others may still work.

  • Keep the registered mobile handy The bill view page sends an OTP to verify you. Without the mobile linked to your connection, it will not go further.

  • Check the receipt before paying again If money left your account, look up Last Bill Payment Receipt first. A second payment only adds one more entry to sort out.

Other ways to access DGVCL

  • Pay at a bill collection centre dgvcl.com lists Bill Collection Centers where you can pay in person when online payment fails.

  • Pay a big bill by RTGS DGVCL publishes RTGS details on its site for paying a bill by bank transfer.

  • Hear past payments on the IVRS Register your mobile and consumer number with the customer care centre to hear three months of payments and consumption on its IVRS.

  • Estimate the bill yourself The Monthly Consumption calculator on dgvcl.com works out a bill from your units when the bill page is slow.

  • Call customer care The toll-free line, short code and email are on our DGVCL helpline page.
