About CLAT

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the national admission test for the 5-year integrated LL.B. and 1-year LL.M. programmes of 26 National Law Universities. The Consortium of National Law Universities, based at Nagarbhavi in Bengaluru, conducts it, and several affiliate universities and organisations also use CLAT scores.

For CLAT 2027, applications opened on 3 August 2026 and close on 31 October 2026, and the exam is on 6 December 2026. Registration, login with your mobile number, notifications and the help desk are on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
