About BWSSB
Bengaluru's piped water and sewerage are run by the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), a Government of Karnataka board based at Cauvery Bhavan. Its site, bwssb.karnataka.gov.in, links the water bill payment page, complaint registration and new connection portals.
Bills are paid online with the 8-digit RR Number and an OTP to the registered mobile number or email. Complaints about supply, leaks and sewage go to the {helpline_number} call centre or the online Complaint Management System.

BWSSB's services run on separate sites: bill payment on bwsajala.karnataka.gov.in, complaints on cms.bwssb.gov.in and new connections on owc.bwssb.gov.in. The main site can open fine while the payment or complaint page is failing, so check the exact page that broke.
Open Pay Your Bills on the BWSSB site, enter your 8-digit RR Number, and verify with an OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email. The payment page also lets you change the registered number.
Call 1916, BWSSB's call centre, or use Lodge Complaint on the BWSSB website, which opens its Complaint Management System. Keep your RR Number and the exact location ready.
Choose the other option on the payment page: if the SMS OTP does not come, pick OTP to mail id instead. If both fail, your registered details may be old; update them with Change Registered Number.
