About AU Small Finance Bank

AU Small Finance Bank is the largest small finance bank in India, headquartered in Jaipur.

It started in 1996 as a vehicle finance company, took a small finance bank licence and began banking in April 2017. In 2025 it received in-principle approval from the RBI to convert into a universal bank, the first small finance bank to get that nod.

Its strength lies in semi urban and rural India, and it offers savings and current accounts, fixed deposits, the AU 0101 app, UPI, cards and loans. Deposit and EMI dates, salary credits and month end are when its app and net banking see the most usage.
