In India it now comes included with every iCloud+ plan, which starts at Rs 75 a month for 50GB. Through Family Sharing, up to six people share one subscription.

Check Apple TV on Apple's System Status page first. No issue listed there? Update the app and test your connection; HD needs 8 Mbit/s or more.
Update the Apple TV app from the Google Play Store, then restart the TV.
On Android TV, Fire TV and Sony TVs you cannot subscribe or buy inside the app. Subscribe on a phone or at tv.apple.com, then sign in on the TV with that same Apple Account.
Open tv.apple.com/in and sign in. If videos do not autoplay, turn off any ad blocker extension. The site may ask you to add or verify a card before playing on the web. On a Windows laptop, the Apple TV app from the Microsoft Store is the other option.

If you paid for Apple TV on its own, Apple moves you to iCloud+ and tells you by push notification and email; the old subscription is cancelled. Apple One subscribers carry on as before.

Yes, on some plans. Airtel's Wi-Fi plans from Rs 999 list Apple TV+ among their OTT benefits. That access is billed and supported by Airtel, so a bundle that stops working goes to Airtel first.
For a paid Apple TV subscription, cancel on the web:
- Sign in at tv.apple.com.
- Open the account icon, then Settings.
- Under Subscriptions, choose Manage, then Cancel Subscription.
Paid through Google Play? Cancel in the Android app or at play.google.com. Apple TV that comes with iCloud+ or Apple One stays as long as that plan does.
