Four regional rural banks became Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank (APGB) on 1 May 2025: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank, Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB), Saptagiri Grameena Bank and Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank. It is sponsored by Union Bank of India and works from its head office in Guntur.
The old banks' customers were moved onto one system in 2025, with new account numbers and a single IFSC, UBIN0CG7999. Banking runs through the APGB Money app, net banking at netbanking.apgb.bank.in, UPI, WhatsApp banking and more than 1,300 branches across the state.

Rule out the 2025 changeover first. Saptagiri customers moved to APGB's system on 15 September 2025, and Andhra Pragathi and APGVB customers on 13 October 2025, with new account numbers. Anything still set up with the old bank name, account number or IFSC can fail even when the bank is up.
Re-register UPI. In PhonePe, Google Pay or BHIM, remove the old bank and add Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, then set a 4-digit PIN with your debit card or Aadhaar OTP. For the first 24 hours on Android, or 72 hours on iPhone, you can make only one payment, of up to Rs 5,000.
UBIN0CG7999, one code for all NEFT, RTGS and IMPS payments into the bank. The bank says NEFT and RTGS sent to an old Andhra Pragathi or APGVB IFSC are declined, so give payers the new IFSC and your new account number.
Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank. From 1 May 2025, APGVB, Saptagiri, Andhra Pragathi and Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank form a single bank under that name. Union Bank of India is the sponsor, and the branches stay where they were.
