Q: How do I log in to UUCMS as a student?

Open the UUCMS login page, choose Student, then pick Regular Student or KSOU Student. Enter your username, password and the captcha. An English version of the login page is available from the same screen.

Q: I forgot my UUCMS password. How do I reset it?

Click Forgot Password on the login page. Choose Student, say whether you are Indian, and enter your username. The OTP goes to your registered mobile, or to your registered email for a non-Indian student. If the reset does not work, your college admin can reset a student password too.

About UUCMS

UUCMS, the Unified University and College Management System, is the Karnataka Department of Higher Education portal that brings the state's public universities and their colleges onto one system. Admissions, examinations and degrees all run inside it, along with attendance, lesson plans and faculty records.

Students sign in as a Regular Student or as a Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) student. The Centre for Smart Governance built the system, and the department's State Project Monitoring Unit runs it.

Log in to UUCMS as a student to see your semester result. Examinations run inside UUCMS, but each university announces its own result date, so check your university notice if nothing shows yet.

Ask your college. The college maps the open elective and second language to your programme in UUCMS. For a missing discipline core, the university has to add it.
