About UPESSC
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), set up under a 2023 state Act and based in Prayagraj, selects teachers for UP's higher, secondary, basic and Atal Residential schools and colleges. That covers assistant professors, lecturers (PGT), assistant teachers, principals and head teachers, and ITI instructors. It also conducts the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET).
upessc.up.gov.in carries advertisements, application forms for PGT, assistant teacher, assistant professor and Special TET, the TET certificate correction form, cut-off marks, answer keys and department-wise results.
