Electricity across Uttarakhand, from Dehradun and Haridwar to Haldwani and Rudrapur, is supplied by UPCL, the Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited. Consumers view and pay bills, recharge, register for bill alerts and apply for new connections on its WSS consumer self-service portal at upcl.org.

When the UPCL portal is down, bill view, payment and receipts stop loading. Power cuts are a separate matter: report them on UPCL's 1912 helpline.

Check your consumer details Login and quick payment both need the exact consumer number from your bill.
Try a supported browser UPCL says the portal works best on the latest Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
Wait before paying again If your bank shows a debit but UPCL still shows the bill unpaid, give it time to update before you pay a second time.

Open the WSS portal at upcl.org/wss and choose Bill Payment / Recharge, or log in to your consumer account. Pay within 10 days of the bill date for a 1.5% rebate on the current bill amount; the rebate shows in your next bill.

Log in on the UPCL WSS portal or the UPCL Consumer Self Service app and open your bill to view or download it. New users can sign up with their consumer details first.

Paying within 10 days of the bill date earns 1.5% off online and 1% off offline, on the current bill amount excluding taxes. The cap is Rs 10,000 for LT consumers and Rs 1 lakh for HT consumers.

Send the exact bill amount through your Virtual Account Number. UPCL asks RTGS and NEFT payers to deposit into its central HDFC account this way, so the payment is credited on time.
